USA Dance Proficiency Points Rules

USA Dance is the governing body for amateur dancesport in the US, and the official Olympic body for Dancesport for the US. While not every competition we go to is USA Dance sanctioned, many are, and often the rules from there are applied to nonsanctioned collegiate competitions anyway. For more information, go their website: www.usadance.org For an explanation of the new proficiency points system as instituted after Nationals 2008, see the Guidebook as put out by USA Dance (available on the USA Dance website or here: 2008 Guidebook). You can find out more information at the USA Dance website.
